Sales Tax

No sales tax will be charged to delivery locations outside of the state of North Carolina. Cottage Classics Design, Inc. is, however, required to collect 7% sales tax on all orders shipped to a North Carolina address.

Backorder Policy

Occasionally, due to high demand, some of our products may be backordered for a period of time. In the case of a backorder, you will be notified immediately of the expected ship date of that item. All backorders will ship promptly unless the order has been cancelled. In order to cancel an order, please send us an email requesting cancellation to Laura@cottageclassics.com. You will receive an email confirming cancellation, providing the item has not shipped. If your order has already shipped, please refer to our return policy for further instructions.

Returns and Exchanges Policy

Cottage Classics is dedicated to customer satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return it, in its original condition and packaging, for a refund, exchange or store credit within 14 days of receipt of the item. Simply call us within 14 days of receipt of the item and we will give you a return authorization number, which is valid for 10 business days. Once we receive your return, we will issue you a credit. If we receive your return without a Return Authorization Number, after the allotted 10 business day window has passed, or if we find that the merchandise has been used or damaged, your merchandise will be sent back to you at your expense. We encourage you to send all returns via insured mail for protection against loss or damage.
 

• Unfortunately, we cannot refund shipping costs, and the return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
• Hand painted, personalized, custom designed furnishings and all made-to-order items cannot be returned, as they are crafted to your personal specifications. If you wish to cancel a custom order, you may do so within 2 business days of your original order date.

We accept credit card payments from Visa, MasterCard and American Express. We also accept PayPal.

Shipping Information

Shipping charges are determined based on the total amount of your order and are listed below. These rates apply only to orders shipped via ground shipping within the contiguous United States.

ALWAYS verify the shipping address before completing your order.  Additional shipping charges incurred will be the responsibility of the customer on any order that must be re-shipped due to incorrect address. 

Certain items, such as larger furniture pieces, which are bulky and heavy, require extra care and incur a Delivery Surcharge, in addition to the appropriate charge outlined above. The exact amount of the charge will be noted in the description of the item and in your shopping cart.

Orders Outside Contiguous United States

International orders and shipments to Puerto Rico, and Canada will incur higher charges than stated above. Please call us for exact prices for these shipments and for specific information regarding international orders. Often times an item will only be available for delivery within the 48 contiguous states, which will be outlined in the product description.

Delivery Time

Because many products on cottageclassics.com are hand crafted and made-to-order, shipping times given in the product descriptions are estimates. We will always make every effort to expedite the manufacturing and shipping of items to you and will notify you promptly of any delays. Cottage Classics cannot be held responsible for delays beyond the estimated delivery times given.

It is our top priority to create products that are not only beautiful but also safe for your children. Cottage Classics creates only high quality and well-crafted furnishings and accessories. We cannot, however, be held liable for any accidents resulting in personal injury that involve any products sold on cottageclassics.com.  Prices, availability and estimated delivery times are subject to change at any time.
